Al-Qurain Holding is a subsidiary of Al Zumorrodah Holding, a Kuwaiti shareholding company founded originally by Mr. Mahmoud Haider and other partners in late 1960's as a trading company to seek and manage the business opportunities for the partners. With the remarkable increase in the company's activities and acquisitions, the assets of the company where restructured in 2002 to form Al Zumorrodah Holding Co. Currently, the company's paid up capital is KD 115.5 million (USD 430 million). Al Zumorrodah Holding experienced substantial growth generating strong performance and an expanding asset portfolio of national and international investments in diversified business sectors including financial services, medical & healthcare services, oil & gas, retail, foodstuff and media to name a few.
